FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tallahassee, FL — August 15 – The National Automotive Finance (NAF) Association brought together senior executives from across the auto finance spectrum for the 2025 C-Suite Retreat, a two-day gathering designed to challenge default thinking, exchange ideas, and foster meaningful connections.

This year’s Retreat drew a diverse group of leaders representing finance companies, banks, credit unions, service providers, and other stakeholders from across the country. Attendees engaged in candid conversations that tackled the industry’s most pressing issues, exploring innovative approaches to leadership, operations, and growth.

Guided by facilitator Marguerite Watanabe, President & CEO of Connections Insights, the sessions encouraged participants to look beyond the familiar and engage in open, honest dialogue. Watanabe’s thoughtful approach ensured every voice was heard and every idea explored, creating an atmosphere of trust and intellectual curiosity.

The strength of this event is in the dialogue,” said Jennifer Martin, Executive Director of the NAF Association. “It’s not about one person speaking from the stage but rather creating an environment where leaders can exchange perspectives, share real-world experiences, and engage in candid conversations that continue well beyond the retreat. Our goal is that the connections and ideas that emerge here have a lasting influence on the way our attendees lead their organizations.

In addition to the dynamic business sessions, participants enjoyed unique social experiences that deepened relationships and sparked new collaborations. From intimate dinner gatherings to memorable group activities, the retreat offered opportunities to connect in ways that went far beyond the traditional conference format. Grace Martinez, Vice President, Credit Center Operations, GM Financial, shared, “The mix of honest dialogue, real-world case studies, and time to connect with peers made this retreat invaluable. I walked away with strategies I can apply immediately and insights that will guide my decision-making for months to come.”

The NAF Association extends its appreciation to the 2025 C-Suite Retreat sponsors, whose support made the event possible; dotData, DRN | MVTRAC | SCM, KredosAI, LAYERUP, OttoMoto, and RepoSystems. Their commitment to advancing the industry and supporting leadership development is invaluable.
